Joining Our School

Applications for a place at Springwell Village Primary School can be made between 3rd October 2022 and 15th January 2023.
Nursery
We have our own on-site nursery catering for children from 3 years of age. The nursery runs every morning from 9.05am to 12.05pm.
It is a wonderful provision that includes an indoor and outdoor area. Both of which are carefully planned to provide a range of stimulating activities and experiences which promote the social, emotional, moral, intellectual and physical development of the children. Visits are warmly encouraged.
Parents need to call into school for an application form. This can be done any time after child’s 2nd Birthday. We will also need to have sight of the child’s (long) birth certificate.

Reception
We would like to welcome you and your child to Springwell Village Primary School Reception Class. We are looking forward to getting to know you, and to working and learning together for a brighter future. We know that starting school is a huge step for parents and children and that you may have many questions. We hope this information will be helpful and answer the questions you may have.

Transfer to Our School
To transfer to our school, please contact our school office on 0191 415 7214. A transfer form can be found on the link below.
Concerned about a child?
If you are concerned about the welfare of a child, the school’s safeguarding team are available through appointments made at the school office.
You can make your own referral to children’s services at Together for Children (TfC) on 0191 520 5560 (available 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday - Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday) or the Out of Hours Team on 0191 520 5552 (also available 24 hours Saturday and Sunday).
